This is my third 3D printer and by far the best! I have a Kossel Rostock Delta printer made from a kit and it has yet to make its first successful print, the extruder heat driver FET keeps overheating.
I have a Geeetech Prusa 3 kit, it works well but is not as large and rigid as the JGAurora Z-603s and therefore does not make as accurate/good looking prints as the JGAurora.
The Z-603s has only printed about three 1Kg rolls of PLA so far, but the prints are great! Ive recently added a borosilicate glass plate to the heated bed, this is flat and makes great prints with no adhesion problems so far.
I believe that the only thing that would make this printer better would be to fully enclose it. Having air motion in the room noticeably reduces the print quality, leaving a rougher surface finish and some stringing of the plastic.
I was a little nervous spending the extra for this printer but with this design it is well worth the additional cost. Im using it with Fusion 360 and Cura software.
Im honestly surprised by the quality of the prints and the rigidity of the structure. It is a well built printer, and does well with most filaments I have tested so far.
I have had it for a little over a week, and it has run non stop so far. No issues yet. The manual and set-up are pretty good as well, it is translated from Chinese, but most of it makes sense.
The sample filament was pretty much a joke, less than 1 meter of filament, but that wasnt really needed for prints. I will probably be buying a few more in the future.
My first 3D printer and Im very impressed. Ive had a very questions and they were answered very quickly by the manufacture. I havent been able to get it to print directly from the latest version of Cura, but thats due to Cura not finding the USB drivers.
The old version works well. Just wish there was a software control panel for the printer instead of having to access via the front panel. Ive printed both PLA and ABS without issue.
Glad I had this on my wishlist. Bought for $639 on a lightning deal. Update 04/13/17 Customer service has been fantastic! Im hooked and must have another 3D printer soon!!
