I took me a little over an hour to put it together and get the bed leveled. The first print I did was the frog that is in the photo. The next two were the rockets just to see how it would do in vase mode and all i can saw is WOW.
Then I decided I wanted to do a long printed so I did the T-800 head it took me close to 30hrs to print it. It came our flawless!!! I could not ask for a better printer.
This would be a good printer for a first printer or for someone that has multiple printers and just wants another one.
Took about 45 minutes to assemble everything. Luckily I had some great help as my son is a computer engineer, it was a breeze for him. Spent a few minutes leveling the bed using the sheet of paper method, and the sample print came out great first try!
Had a minor issue with print bed adhesion on prints with a large base area, but the glue stick method fixed that. Very quiet as advertised. First 3d printer for me, so far so great!
Best cheap kit on the market !!!!!!! The extruder needs work!!!!!!! You will have to tinker with the factory bowden extruder, filament tube, couplings, and hot end to get this printer to extrude correctly!!!
but once you do it prints great !!!!!!!! So for the price I would definitely recommend this machine!!!!!!! !
Update 6/11/2019: Its been a few months and here is my update. After about 60 days the printer started to have problems printing. I called the support line and after a few minutes they sent a replacement printer.
The replacement printer arrived in 2 days and I was up and playing again. Im keeping the 5 star rating, because of how fast and responsive the customer service was.
After about 30 days the hotend fan was starting to squeal, like a bearing was going out. Once again, customer service to the rescue, had the printer fixed in the next day and it has been working like a charm ever since.
Im glad I picked this vender and printer. This has been a great learning experience.Im new to 3D printing and would recommend this printer to anyone starting.
It came well packaged with lots of tools and sample filament and a model on the sd card.The sample filament that came with it wasnt enough to finish the model that was provided, the image in white.
So I found a website (Thingiverse) and shrank it and used some filament (3D Solutech) I purchased at the same time.
